Deck The Blogs

One of the few things better than a weekend is a long weekend, and the holiday calendar sets us up for two in a row this year.

So here's two of my favorite holiday tales conviently housed on YouTube - the first is a new one with a twist at the end, called The Little Christmas Tree, put together by my buddy Chandler in LA. The second has been around a while - Auggie Wren's Christmas Story by Paul Auster. I couldn't find Harvey Keitel's monolouge from the movie Smoke, only the closing credits. If you're not familiar with the story, listen to Paul Auster read it on NPR.

Spread some cheer and be kind to Christmas trees this weekend. Happy Friday.

She Crunk Cus She Won 5 Emmy's In A Row

Some weeks you gotta make your own luck - like lil' Bently Green rapping about Ellen. Hey, it got him on the show so I'm not knockin' it.

Hitch your wagon to a talented 6-year-old this weekend. Happy Friday.

Mirror, Mirror

This Marx Brother's skit from Duck Soup came up in convo a few days ago in reference to physical comedy. As far as applying it to the work week, I guess the lesson is sometimes you just have to fake it. (Side note: this clip seems to be begging for a music mash-up.)

Take a closer look at your mirrors this weekend. Happy Friday.
